Drawing Classes resumed!

by Harry Boddice in

This year, just yesterday, the drawing classes I have tutored at Rosemount community centre have started again, running from mid-January to March.  Yesterday, I had the largest attendance yet  - a whole ten people!

It's actually enough people to make me need to change the way that I teach - with more people, lesson plans have to be a lot more rigid, and can be tailored less to the individual, which is what I was able to do last term.

Nonetheless, I continue to take the desires of my students into account when designing the lessons - asking people what they want to learn is much harder than just telling them things, because most people have only a hazy idea of what they want, at best

Sweet Teaching gig!

HI folks!

I've just started teaching Introduction to Drawing and Introduction to Oil Painting at a local community centre! It's a lot of fun and I love being able to be supportive and encouraging to my students, and introducing them to the wide variety of techniques and materials that I think they'll love!
