Like so many others,

I’ve been an artist from an early age - but I studied Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Strathclyde. Some people say that art and science are incompatible, but I think they’re only different expressions of the innate desire to learn about and understand the world and its people.

I’m a very varied artist - I want to learn about the different ways of making and painting things, as a means to understand life in different ways.

I live in central Scotland with my dog Maggie, and we keep an eye out for interesting things (and squirrels!) when we take our walks around the canals, fields and woods.
